Funds Lawyer

Job Description

We are looking for a mid-level Funds Lawyer to join a small, high-performing team in the Cayman Islands. This is a strong option for someone with solid funds experience who values meaningful client exposure, reasonable hour billing expectations, and genuine career development.

The role involves advising on the formation, structuring, and ongoing operation of hedge, private equity, venture capital funds. You will draft and negotiate offering documents, LPA/LLC agreements, side letters, regulatory filings, and service provider contracts, while guiding clients through CIMA registration and other Cayman regulatory requirements.

This is not a large-firm environment. You will work in a tight-knit team, have direct access to partners, and take ownership of matters from an early stage. Realistic billing hours, high-quality work, and a clear pathway for progression.

Requirements:

• 3–5 PQE, ideally in funds or corporate
• Qualified in a common law jurisdiction
• Strong drafting, advisory, and client-facing skills
